Diamond Star White is a white, polymer-modified, high-strength cement-based adhesive formulated to fix light-coloured natural stones and glass mosaics on walls and floors in both interior and exterior settings. It is non-slip, water-resistant when set, and deformable (can handle impact or slight movement) making it suitable for demanding environments.
Use this adhesive in swimming pools (pool walls, floor tiles, waterline tiles) provided proper substrate preparation and waterproofing is done.

Usage / Application Guidelines for Pools
To ensure reliable performance under swimming pool conditions:

Substrate Preparation

Concrete or cementitious screed/render should be well cured and dry.

Remove dust, loose material, laitance, or any contaminant.

If resurfacing over existing tile, ensure existing tiles are sound and well bonded.

Waterproofing

Use waterproof membranes or coatings underneath the adhesive when designing pool shells. Adhesive is for bonding, not waterproofing.

Use appropriate sealants at joints, corners, pipe penetration points.

Mixing & Additive Use

Use clean, potable water when mixing.

Consider using ADMIX AD1 latex additive for increased flexibility / adhesion especially in submerged or chemically aggressive conditions.
